FESTIVAL ETIQUETTE

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Dear festival guests, our wish is for you to take away only beautiful experiences and leave filled with uplifting emotions. We would like this to be a celebration of grace and elegance, unlike anything you experience in other forms of art.
ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT
-
we recommend arriving by taxi or public transport; if you come by car, you may park in the paid Nivy zone or at the paid parking of Hotel Apollo / OC Nivy
-
we recommend arriving 30 minutes in advance to avoid long waiting times
-
after the start of the event, you will be seated during applause in available seats so as not to disturb other visitors
-
when applying for a discount, you may be asked to present a valid ID or a document confirming your eligibility for the discount
DURING THE CONCERT
-
Out of respect for the performers and other audience members, please avoid any disruptive sounds such as ringing phones, rustling, talking, whispering, and similar disturbances.
-
During the concert, photography and any audio or video recording are strictly prohibited, as they can be very disturbing for performers – please enjoy the experience of live music instead.
DRESS CODE
The festival is a celebration of music and exceptional moments. Your attire expresses respect for the event, the artists, other guests – and ultimately also for yourself. Dress code depends on the type of concert:
Gala concerts (evening events): Formal dress / Cocktail attire (elegant formal wear)
Men: dark jacket and trousers / suit, shirt, tie
Women: cocktail or evening dresses, elegant shoes and accessories
Other concerts: Smart casual (elegant yet relaxed clothing suitable for cultural events)
Men: casual blazer, trousers, shirt (tie not required)
Women: dresses, jumpsuit, trousers + blouse
Please also consider the weather when choosing your outfit, while still respecting the dress code level. On hot days, lighter materials are acceptable, but sportswear or overly casual clothing is not appropriate. We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons in unsuitable attire.
In case of bad weather, blankets and raincoats will be available so you can enjoy the concerts comfortably.
Please watch the videos below, where etiquette coach Jakub Abrahám gives advice on appropriate attire, elegant behaviour, and how to contribute to the unique atmosphere of the event.
Thank you for helping us create a dignified and festive atmosphere at our festival.
