 ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Dear friends of art,

Welcome to another edition of the Symphony of Art – a festival that breaks boundaries, connects genres, and brings people together. Art is not a privilege. Art is a tool for change. And we use it to its fullest.

Our vision is simple, yet powerful:
Art for everyone.
No barriers – neither financial, nor genre-based, nor mental.
Support for those who have something to say, whether they are at the beginning or at the peak of their careers.

This festival is not only about performances. It is about opportunity, connection, inspiration, and open doors for everyone who wishes to feel and create.
Under one roof, we bring together masters of classical music, innovators of the contemporary scene, young talents, and international stars.

The year 2025 is also a challenge for us. We find ourselves in a time when culture is being questioned: does it still have power? Does it still matter?
Our answer is clear: YES.

Stronger than ever. Because art is a voice – and it must not fall silent.

We are proud that this festival has become an example of European cooperation. We are part of a space where cultures reach out to each other, not clash.
And thanks to you – our visitors, partners, and supporters – Slovakia now holds a firm place on the cultural map of Europe.

Thank you for being here. For supporting live art. For believing in its power.
May this edition resonate to the fullest – without compromise, without pretense, authentically.

Art is energy. Let’s experience it together.

OUR AIM THROUGH THE FESTIVAL IS TO:

  • bring access to high-quality art of various genres to everyone, without distinction

  • ensure that participation in art is not an elite privilege or reserved only for the wealthy

  • support the arts sector and make art widely accessible, free of charge or at an affordable price

  • encourage cross-border cooperation, European cultural dialogue, and cultural diversity

  • provide opportunities for artists who are seriously interested in improving their knowledge and practical experience

  • within the festival and in cooperation with partners, continue to support education in the arts with the help of renowned international lecturers

  • support, map, and present young talents and emerging creators and performers in classical music, while promoting cross-border cultural dialogue and cultural diversity

  • cultivate a relationship with art and highlight the importance of art in society

  • use art to support and integrate socially, health-disadvantaged groups, as well as national minorities

  • highlight artistic and cultural diversity and the interconnectedness of different cultures and nations

When we first launched the Symphony of Art project in the pandemic year of 2021, we believed it would be something special. But I could never have imagined that one day we would already be presenting its fifth edition.

This year as well, visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of attractive concerts across different genres, so everyone will find something to enjoy.

Because that is exactly what this event is about – that art is for everyone, that it opens new worlds to us, transcends boundaries, presents the immense talent of many artists, and reveals beauty in many forms.
